In
the 1999 BONO met the Pope as a promoter of the association JUBILEE 2000 for
wipe the debt of the people of Africa.
Music is my life ! First fo all I'd like to say that I'm a musician and playing music is one of the better thing that I'd like to do. I'm a guitar-player but I also play bass,drums,keyboard and sometimes I sing but I haven't a good voice !!!! I wrote a lot of songs and now I'm still sending my material to some records company and I'm waiting for a reply.(Maybe one day I will be a POPSTAR !!). I also like very much listening music : I like a lot of kind of music, I'd like to say that everything starts when I was 13 and I found a old tape of the BeaTles and I started listening music. Beatles was and are important for me and I think they are actually the most important band of ever. Another important kind of music for me is the Soul Music. The soul scene of the '60 and '70 gives to us a lot of deep feelings and also the power of the black-sound. I also like Jazz, Acid-Jazz & Fusion and I played this kind of music in the past (is not easy!!!). At the moment the band that give to me something special when I listen to his music is the U2.I think that U2 are very insteresting because in evey album they give to us different sound and different feeling. It's good that artists like U2 that are at the top of the world are still looking for something new and never tried before.My favourite albums are :

BONO and THE EDGE during SANREMO's FESTIVAL 2000 : I was there and when BONO finished the performance went out of the theatre and then he signed my an autograph on the cover of "ACTHUNG BABY".

I like very much join concerts, I saw U2,Carlos Santana,James Brown,Cardigans,Jamiroquai and many others.....I also like very much live album because in those you can hear the performance and the values of the artists.
Right now I like very much JAMIROQUAI for their new JAZZ-FUNK and young bands like CARDIGANS,SUBSONICA,CHEMICAL BROTHERS,PRODIGY,APOLLO 440,ecc.... I think that those new sounds are good but I don't like noises like Techno or House music I think that those are no sounds but only noises! Anyway I try to listen to all kind of music for learn something and to influence my music.
