welcome everyone to my homepage!
as you maybe saw in the homepage in Italian, there was a 3.0 on the right. here instead there's a 2.0, that doesn't mean just more recent but also "in progress". in this english version, the large part of contents in the original page is absent. this is due to my lacking knowledge of the so-called literary words in English. however i hope it will be interesting for non-italian speakers as for the other surfers.		 2.0
why an homepage?
i think the web is a good way to allow us to meet people all over the world [wherever they are] and have an excange of ideas with them. that was absolutely unpredictable just 30 years ago, when lots of people just thought that the year 2000 [their "future"] would have been made of flying cars and trips to Mars. but things went in a different way..

i think this is the great characteristic of our age: to have such an easy way to communicate to a wide range of persons [most of them so differnt from us]. we should find what we have in common and built on that a new kind of society. of course this mean also discover ourselves.
i know this could be such one side of the so-called globalization [and maybe the most "romantic"]. however - in my opinion - it is a great chance that we cannot miss: internet allows us to communicate and maybe to better understand why lots of differences are in the world. lots of differences that, if understood, can be the richness of this age.

i wish that this little pages can be a contribute to this "treasure".
something more about me

LUIGIof course a short introduction.

i am 22 yo and i live in Naples [Napoli in Italian] an almost large city in the southern Italy [maybe you've heard of it because of pizza or mandolin or Vesuvius and so on]. however Naples is also a historical and artistic city [maybe i can add a short page about Naples in the future...].

i attend the fourth year of law university and, if you can see anything about law in this homepage, that is just because i don't think i would say something different of what was said yet [and in a better way].
i am also interested in literature and music [although just as a listener]. i tried, especially in the past, to write down something. now something of my compositions are available [though only in Italian].

my favourite musical genres are various and, at the moment, my tastes are changing in the direction of contemporary music [expecially "da camera"] and ragtime, after a "progressive rock" period.
however the fact of not-being a musician [in the meaning that i am not good in playing anything!] limits me so much as listener.

i think that could be enough to let me introduce to you, my "guests". in the next menu there is the contents list.

though this page is quite old and it's never been upgraded for years, i still think these images could be interesting for someone... are my favourite pictures i've created in the past years. there are also some backgrounds. it's still in italian.

futurismo materiali testuali ::
in this page are some literary material of Italian futurism. have you ever heard about futurism? and about experimental poetry and art in early 1900 in Italy and Europe? this could be a chance to discover or deepen this great [not only artistically] movement.

decadiario ::
here is my weblog. i know it's just one of millions but.. here it is. it's concerned about what happens to me and how i feel about things that go on in the world. some part of it may have been written in english.
