Tango Tres ripropone, in versione originalmente arrangiata dal sassofonista del gruppo, il primo periodo del tango "Guardia Vieja", in voga a Buenos Aires tra il 1880 e il 1917, fino ai successivi brani cantati che ne hanno decretato il successo internazionale.

E' un viaggio nei sentimenti che lo hanno generato: da una parte la tristezza, la frustrazione e la nostalgia degli immigrati, dall'altra il risentimento dei nativi nei confronti di questa "invasione" e la rabbia di chi, abbandonata la campagna, si ritrova piu' solo e piu' fragile nei sobborghi di Buenos Aires.

Tango Tres propose in a version originally arranged by the sax player of the group the very first period of the tango music called "Guardia Vieja", in fashion in Buenos Aires between 1880 and 1917, and the song which belong to the following period and that have granted to the tango its international success.

It can be considered a journey into the true feelings that have created its birth: on one side sadness, frustration and sickness of the immigrated people, on the other side native people resentment against the "Invasion" of immigrants and the rage of those people who, after leaving the countryside, find themselves in a condition of real loneliness and frailty raised as a consequence of the way of life of Buenos Aires suburbs.
