Copersucar Simulation Team

Wilson Fittipaldi - FD01 - 1975

Founded by Wilson Fittipaldi in the year of 1973, the team Fittipaldi began their brief career in formula one in the late 70's, the name Copersucar came from the principal sponsor, Cooperativa De Produtores De Cana, Açùcar E Álcool Do Estado De Sao Paulo LTDA. and the brazilian's started to use the name Copersucar to identified the cars.

The Fittipaldi team was the first and only entirely brazilian team to have ever raced in formula one, with the home base at the Interlagos Circuit of Sao Paulo, also hometown of the Fittipaldi family.

Despite some good results, including an unforgettable second place in the Brazil Grand Prix 1978 by Emerson, the team never really got around to demonstrate their full capacity. In the last years of running in formula one, they joined the Wolf team, until the definitive dissolvement of the team.

Today in the world of simulation the yellow cars are back, to recognize and never forget who build the base of our future champions.
