THE NGC CATALOG

As an example of an object listed in the "New General Catalogue of Nebulae and Clusters of Stars", the faint planetary nebula NGC 7293 is rather difficult to see and photograph. In this drawing it is observed through a pair of giant 20 x 100 binoculars, under a clear mountain sky.
