Giovanni Imbalzano

            

    Author Image Nato in Reggio di Calabria il 10 Febbraio 1944, è sposato e padre di due figlie. Dopo aver completato gli studi classici, si è laureato nel 1967 in Fisica Generale presso l'Università di Torino. Ha concluso tali studi con una ricerca teorica “Sulla questione della CP- violazione” cioè sul problema della simmetria temporale nel decadimento della particella |K°>. I suoi interessi scientifici si sono rivolti dalla Fisica nucleare alla didattica, dalla Teoria dei numeri all'Informatica. Ha conseguito l'abilitazione per l'insegnamento di Matematica e Fisica a Genova, di Informatica a Roma; insegna dal 1967 ed ha svolto attività di formatore didattico, anche nell'ambito del Piano Nazionale per l'Informatica e per il Programma GLOBE (NOAA-NASA). L'autore raccolse la sfida di Fermat sull'Ultimo Teorema già nel 1969, in occasione del I Concorso Europeo PHILIPS per giovani ricercatori (Milano).
