The first photo was realized in 1826 or 1827 by French
Joseph Nicéphore Niepce (1765-1833).
The camera that he used was realized with two wood cassettes, and currently it is preserved to the Museum Denon, in France.
The camera was gifted of an iride diaphragm. To realize the photo was necessary a time of exposure of eight hours. It shows the view that was enjoyed by the window of the office of Niepce.
The plate was made of pewter covered by bitumen and oil of lavender.
