JUST A FEW LINES ABOUT A LIAR

I will lose a few minutes of my time writing this "Communiquè" because I wish to warn others people who could be victims of Kinnane's lies and/or calomnies.

I did start, five years ago, a criminal law suit against Kinnane in Malta receiving the full support of the most important local personalities who wrote, with indignation, to the local press proving that Kinnane and his "friends" were just cheap liers who to easier sell their articles would write anything about anybody: unfortunately Kinnane runned away from Malta and I could not send him to jail as he deserved. He continued to call me "Vigo" (which is anyway the name of a branch of the Family having the title of Prince and belonging to the most illustrious ancient italian nobility) even if he knows that my name is de Vigo Paleologo and it does it so that people may believe that I am not a Paleologo. Unfortunately for him all the Courts of Justice in Europe have confirmed that I am, of course, the Head of the Imperial and Royal House Paleologo having the right (fons honorum) to confer Nobility and Chivalric Titles everywhere recognized. Kinnane does not recognize any authority to the Courts of Justice and when he must write about some of these Judgements he tries to change the content of it. Just to give you an exemple, he says that the French Court affirmed that my Lawyer, Maitre dr. Christofe Moustacakis from Aix-en-Provence, did produce only "photocopies of passages from un-named works whose authors could not be established nor their credibility" .................... On the contrary the court affirmed it about the defense who was also sentenced to pay me a fine: he went also to prison ............ but I am not interested about it.

Kinnane also writes that my great-grand father, Prince Gerolamo, was recognized in 1869 by the Heraldic Congregation of the Senate of Rome only as a "member of the Roman Nobility". He forgets to say that the above Congregation recognized him as "DESCENDANT AND HEIR TO THE EMPERORS OF THE ORIENT, THE PALAEOLOGOS........" adding that he was recognized "WITH ALL THE HONOURS ENJOYED BY HIS ANCESTORS". May be it is necessary to remind that at that time the Pope was also the Sovereign of all Italy and the Senate and the Heraldic Congregation acted under his authority. About my Dynastic Orders of Chivalry, Kinnane and the carpet or pianting dealer writes only junks! POPE AND EMPERORS DID ALWAYS RECOGNIZE THE PALAEOLOGOS AS HEREDITARY GRAND MASTERS OF THESE ORDERS!!!!

Did Kinnane read the Decree, just to quote one of the many, of Emperor Charles VI, dated 4th April 1720, which is easy to find in the Budapest State Archives, ref. Denizenship, April 1720, A 35, and in the "Libri Regni" of the Kingdom of Hungary, vol. XXIII, 262?

Did he ever read the many documents and books kept in the Archives of Italy, in the Library of Paris, Munich, New York, the Library of the Congress in Washington, etc.?

Did he ever read the very interesting book "Des Anges et de Saint Saint Georges" of Prof. Marthe Jans , with photos of almost all my documents and distributed in all the scholls by the regional Goverment?

Did he read the book of baron Karl-Heinz Moll "Dokumentation uber den Ritterorden vom Kreuz von Konstantinopel" or the "Byzantine Empire" by Marquis Victor J. Castillo?

Did he read "La Casa Imperiale de Vigo Aleramico Lascaris Paleologo" by Avv. Giuseppe Antonio Pensavalle de Cristoforo, the famous Lawyer of the italian Supreme Court , the Corte di Cassazione, and President of the U.C.C.I (International Union of Christian Chivalry)?

Did he read the "The Palaeologos Family", written by famous genealogist Count dr. Charles A. Gauci and Count Prof. Peter Mallat?

Of course no, he would reply, he is only interested about what he says and what he writes!!! For him his lies are the Gospel!

Some years ago, when I did not know what kind of person he is and I believed that, has he had told me, he was really interested about history and heraldic, I proposed to show him all my documents but he did not get in touch anymore and I heard about him only when, as I already said, he started to send silly letters to some newspapers in Malta.

Anyway what disgusts me and all the people who love their family are the lies and calomnies he dares to write about my late parents, my late first wife and my daughter! How can a human being so low, so mean and lie or reproduce other's lies just to make some money?

DOES HE NOT KNOW THAT THE COURT OF JUSTICE OF MILAN DID ALREADY SENTENCE AGAINST THOSE WHO HAD WRITTEN SUCH LIES?

About me all what he write is false! I never had problems, I did never lose, I did always win and I can only repeat that Kinnane is a lier!

He even dares to say that I am not married when everybody can very easily find out that I am duly married to Françoise, as it appears at the Town Hall and in all our documents, passports, etc. My daughter, who I had from my late first wife, her children and my great-grand son and heir, Gianluca, do love Françoise as they do love me and we are a very happy Family!

About the other persons calomnied by him I have no right to mention here theirs names but I will only say that they are honest people who will for sure give to Kinnane the lesson he deserves!

Last but not least, I don't make any money by conferring Titles.

We have our own Association in many Countries, like in Malta where all the money is given to local charitable Institution like the Community Chest Fund, the Little Sisters of the Poors, Orphanages, etc.

The money of the "Imperial Byzantine Ball" are also given till the last cent to the charitable institutions clearly indicated into the Invitation and the Cancer Society had a net benefit of more that some hundreds thousand dollars!

I could mention all my others cultural, social and charitable activities but I don't like to and I don't need to praise myself.

That's all, I have more important things to do than writing a longer comment about people like Kinnane & Co and I thank God who gave me the chance to do something good to the benefit of those who need the help of a brotherly hand.

LA CALUNNIA NON E' SOLO UN VENTICELLO...............

Errare è umano ma quando si scrivono e ci si ostina a scrivere stupide menzogne e calunnie, allora non ci sono più scuse e la Giustizia deve punire il colpevole.

Qualche anno fa, un tipo che non avevo mai conosciuto e che si spacciava per cultore di araldica, inviò ad un giornale di Malta una lettera nella quale affermava cose veramente stupide e cioè, tra l'altro, che non era mai esistita la Congregazione Araldica del Senato di Roma che nel 1869 aveva riconosciuto mio bisnonno paterno, Principe Gerolamo, quale Nobile Romano, "DISCENDENTE ED EREDE DEI PALEOLOGO IMPERATORI D'ORIENTE" reintegrandolo quindi "CON TUTTI GLI ONORI DEI QUALI AVEVANO GODUTO I SUOI ANTENATI". Naturalmente non c'era bisogno di essere uno storico per sapere che tale Congregazione esisteva realmente ed era la massima autorità competente in materia, dipendente all'epoca da Sua Santità il Pontefice Pio IX.

Naturalmente io contestai subito, con dati di fatto, tali assurde affermazioni ed il Kinnane, così si chiamava colui che aveva scritto tale stupidaggine, inviò simili stupide lettere ad un altro giornale locale, dando così inizio ad una assurda polemica, che sollevò l'indignazione delle personalità maltesi ed inglesi che ben mi conoscevano e che scrissero a loro volta a tale quotidiano dimostrando l'assurdità, per non dire peggio, di quanto affermava il Kinnane.

Poichè costui, non sapendo più cosa dire, arrivò al punto di insultare i miei genitori ed altre persone care, purtroppo defunte, quali la mia prima moglie ed una delle mie figlie, allora persi la pazienza e denunciai il Kinnane alla locale Magistratura, accusandolo di calunnia e diffamazione.

Purtroppo dopo essersi presentato alla prima udienza, il Kinnane comprese che lo attendeva una severa condanna e non si fece più vivo, allontanandosi da Malta per ignota destinazione. In tal modo evitò la pena prevista per casi del genere. Del resto è sua abitudine ( o necessità?) di cambiare domicilio, come quando partì da Georgetown lasciandovi le valigie. Speriamo che il suo amico Jim l'abbia aiutato a recuperarle. A proposito, che ne è dell'altro Jim di Commerce Street? Quante cose sappiamo? Molte, ma per il momento non vogliamo perdere tempo a parlarne.

Un altro suo amico aveva anche lui, da buon complice, scritto lettere che ripetevano le assurdità inventate dal Kinnane, ma contro di lui non fu possibile iniziare un procedimento giudiziario, dato che si era ben guardato dal venire a Malta, preferendo rimanere al sicuro nel suo paese, continuando a scrivere, o a far scrivere, essendo un dilettante, libri cosidetti di storia ed araldica, che sembrano copiati di quà e di là.

Tale stupida campagna di menzogne non è però terminata, e lui e Kinnane ripetono sempre le solite dabbenaggini e cioè che io non mi chiamo Paleologo, che sono figlio illegittimo, che non sono sposato come affermo, che ho perso dei processi, che non ho diritto di conferire Titoli Nobiliari e Cavallereschi, che i miei Ordini Dinastici sono falsi, ecc. ecc.

Inutile dir loro che sono figlio unico e legittimo di Cesare e di Adalgisa Evangelisti-Paci e che non ho avuto due madri, ma che era mia madre che aveva due cognomi, che a Napoli un tale si è spacciato per me ed io ho provato che all'epoca abitavo all'estero, che non ho mai perso alcun processo e che, al contrario, ho sempre denunciato i calunniatori ed ho sempre vinto, come ho vinto anche a Milano, contrariamente a quanto riferisce il Kinnane parlando della mia defunta consorte, che il mio cognome è, purtroppo per lui, veramente Paleologo, come figura nell'atto di nascita, nel passaporto e in tutti gli altri documenti, che sono legalmente sposato con Françoise, come è facilmente verificabile al Municipio e come provano i vari certificati ed il passaporto di mia moglie, che la figlia che ho avuto dal mio primo matrimonio i suoi figli ed il mio pronipote, Gianluca, amano me e mia moglie e formiamo una famiglia unita e felice, che tutte le offerte fatte ai miei Ordini Dinastici sono devolute, come controllato annualmente dai Membri del Consiglio, unicamente alle opere culturali, sociali, e caritative dei vari paesi, come ad esempio a Malta dove vengono devolute alle Piccole Suore dei Poveri, al Community Cest Fund ed altre istituzioni benefiche.

Anche il netto ricavo dei "Balli Imperiali Bizantini", famosi in tutto il mondo e a cui partecipano centinaia di persone, viene devoluto sino all'ultimo centesimo alle istituzioni chiaramente indicate negli inviti e la Società del Cancro Americana, tanto per citarne una, ha ricevuto centinaia di migliaia di dollari, che sono serviti a salvare molte vite umane.

In Germania, per esempio, abbiamo donato delle ambulanze, in Colombia i Membri versano le offerte direttamente alle opere di Padre Garcia e noi non chiediamo nemmeno il costo dei diplomi, in Italia aiutiamo le Opere Antoniane ed altre istituzioni, abbiamo fondato il "Premio Paleologo" per le ricerche oftalmiche ed ogni anno, durante il Congresso Medico Oftalmico Americano, viene conferito tale premio ad eminenti ricercatori.

La lista potrebbe continuare, ma chi avesse interesse può chiedere ulteriori dettagli che saremo lieti di fornire.

Circa la validità dei Titoli da me conferiti, i tribunali di quasi tutti i paesi d'Europa, a cominciare dall'Italia, hanno emesso sentenze irrevocabili che hanno confermato tale mio diritto e cioè la "fons honorum" e tali sentenze sono state pubblicate in vari libri, si trovano in molte biblioteche e sono a disposizione di chiunque ne faccia una motivata richiesta.

Naturalmente il Kinnane arriva al punto di negare la competenza della Magistratura e quando è messo alle strette, cerca persino di travisare il contenuto di tali sentenze. Per esempio, afferma che nella sentenza della Corte di Cassazione di Parigi e della Corte di Appello di Nimes si dice che le prove presentate dal mio avvocato, Christofe Moustacakis, sono unicamente " fotocopie di scritti anonimi dei quali non è stato possibile individuare gli autori nè la loro credibilità". Purtroppo per il Kinnane tale frase si riferisce invece alla parte avversaria, condannata a risarcirmi i danni e che è poi finita in galera! Forse il Kinnane non capisce il francese.....

Non sapendo cos'altro inventare, il Kinnane arriva anche a diffamare persone mie amiche della cui onorabilità nessuno può dubitare. Non ho il diritto di citarne i nomi, ma sono certo che anche loro o i loro discendenti, dato che alcuni sono purtroppo defunti, prenderanno contro il Kinnane i necessari provvedimenti.

Concludendo, chi mi calunnia e diffama rivela il suo vero scopo e cioè quello di ricevere onorificenze o remunerazioni da coloro cui diamo fastidio perchè facciamo veramente delle opere di bene invece di avere lussuosi palazzi e vivere come dei Pascià, mentre tanta gente muore di fame.......

Perciò, se leggete qualcosa scritta dal Kinnane o dal suo complice fate finta di leggere un mediocre romanzo dove tutto è inventato e che, nel nostro caso annoia ed indigna.

p.s. Cari Signori levatemi, per favore, una curiosità: uno di voi afferma di avere "attended" l'Università di Roma e il College of Law di Londra, mentre l'altro dice di avere "attended" l'Università di Columbia e di aver lavorato all'UNESCO (dove, però, non si ricordano di lui); ma allora perchè non dite se avete una laurea e quale? Certamente non in storia data la vostra ignoranza!

E' vero che "attended" può anche tradursi con "frequentare", il che non vuol dire nulla, dato che si frequenta anche il Caffe del quartiere.........
