The water slides, balance
shakes me from one end to the other
and I feel like I've been asleep the whole time
while my imagination's been flying around the world
with somebody that looks unbelievably similar
to my expressionless face in the unlit mirror
wondering why I don't turn on the light
that looks out from inside me.
