The purpose of our evaluation is to verify the degree of accessibility
in textual mode of the Institutional Sites of Roman Faculties. Obviously,
such an analysis has to be considered a partial one because it is limited
only at the 'technical' aspect. However, we think that our work has a
great value because it is just the 'technique' used to develop the Site
which determines the possibility to acceede to its 'contents'.
So as the consideration that the navigability in only text mode is used
only by a few sailers, can't change the substance of our not-work.
This minority is often a part of another 'minority', that in relation to
social and economical troubles or to psycho-physical or
sensorial disabilities.
In order to make our evaluation complete we used three textual browsers (Lynx 2.8.11, Nettamer 1.11.5 and Bobcat 2.5) and three graphic browsers (Netscape 3.01, Explorer 3.0 and Arachne 1.46) so to have more information about the structure of the examined pages.
