I go to the Suzuki violin school of Trieste and my
teacher is Cristina Verità. The Suzuki method has been created by
Shinichi Suzuki and its four essential points, in his words, are:
The child should listen to the reference recordings every
day at home to develop musical sensitivity. Rapid progress depends on listening.
Tonalization, or the production of a beautiful tone, should
be stressed in the lesson and at home.
Constant attention should be given to accurate intonation,
correct posture, and the proper bow hold.
Parents and teachers should strive to motivate the child
so that he will enjoy practicing correctly at home.
