Shihan of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu's honbu
dojo Abashiri (Japan).
Director of the Overseas Development
Department.
Martial curriculum vitæ.
I begun studying martial arts at the
age of 15, and I studied simultaneously Aikido with the
preminent Masters present in Europe at the time reaching 4th dan
and Karate with Hiroshi Shirai Sensei who gave me the 1st
dan. I then studied Kendo for 5 years reaching 1st dan.
Since 1991 I regularly train in Japan over long periods in Abashiri,
Hokkaido at the honbu dojo of the Daito-ryu
Aikijujutsu Seishinkai, which treasures
the original techniques exactly as taught by the late Soke
Tokimune Takeda. There I have been granted the 4th dan and
have been appointed Director of the
Overseas Development Department of the honbu dojo.
.
Activities.
I regularly teach Daito-ryu
aikijujutsu in Milan where I live. Each week end I hold seminars
and specific courses for instructors in Italy's major cities and
in the world. I have given birth to the Sport and cultural Association
Daito-ryu Italia. This is a non
profit enterprise which only objective is to preserve and diffuse
the noble and ancient tradition of what in Japan is considered
to be the the most prestigious and renowned existing Aikibujutsu
school.
