The WBF Golden Card is the Identification Card of the WBF Backgammon Players
bound to realize the purpose to transform this play in a true "Sport
of Mind," organized like Tennis, Chess, Bridge, etc. The WBF Golden
Card expires 30 September of each year and will be renewed - without any
problem - to all asking owners and to the new persons (introduced by two
WBF supporters) well disposed to give a valid contribute to realize the
above purpose and bound to observe the two passwords, "Transparency
and Correctness."
"Sport of Mind" is the nickname of Backgammon coined by the WBF.
A WBF Supporter must observe the following:

DECALOGUE OF THE GOOD BACKGAMMON PLAYER
1. To respect the WBF rules including the respect for the Directors; 2. To demand that the Players, Directors and Organizers respect the
WBF rules and the Decalogue of the good WBF Director; 3. To participate, preferably in WBF Tournaments, or in the Tournaments
recognized by the WBF; 4. To demand public and correct draws; 5. To respect and demand to respect the established timetable; 6. To demand the application of the penalty points rule; 7. To inform the Director before leaving the Tournament playing area; 8. To demand that the Beginner Flight is run without a doubling cube; 9. To avoid slow play that destroys the pleasure of play; 10. To cooperate to discover possible incorrect WBF Card's owners.
