On a surface of 270 hectares are extended the woods of the Estate; the essences principal are :oaks,lecci,cerros and others of the Mediterranean stain. There are many different paths that go throw, giving therefore the possibility to the tourist to do trekking in an uncontaminated environment.
Cultivated
The main creps on the farm are wheat and barley ;the land also makes possible to cultivate sunflower, oil rape and lawns of medical grass that furnish forage to the breeding of cattle of race Chianina. There are 10 hectares of vineyard specialized that produces Chianti DOCG, whose grape is conferred to the Wine cellar Colline Pisane for the production of Chianti . The olive plantation is extended on 24 hectares with 3.500 plants, that produce a special Extra Virgin Olive Oil to which the IGP has been recognized and that is sold in the farm.
Breedings
Cattle CHIANINA race pasture wild and they are fed of spontaneous grasses; only the feeding is integrated from the hay of farm production in winter.
Breeding of bees that furnishes a Honey that is manufactured in farm without manipulation, for which can be defined by law Virgin Integrale.
Environment
The farm sticks to a program in the vineyards and oil to reduce the environmental impact; for the cultivation adopts the rotation colturale to reduce the use of pesticides. The results arevisible when you see the number of wild animals that flourish on the territory.
