Fractal images come in a variety of forms: 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, olographic, and are the basis of many electronic graphic displays and pictures. Innovative mathematic algorithms are being explored every day to create new, stimulating, images and graphics.
There are several software programs available to play with fractals, the most known being Fractint (a freeware) which I used here.
