I thought of putting together here all the historical and continuity mistakes I find in my already published stories as I go on documenting myself, and the rare instances of second thoughts. Note that sometimes the mistake has been corrected already in the actual story, and sometimes it hasn't: it depends on whether I've had the time to upload the corrected file or not.
"The Red Needle":
- Corporal Winters does not get wounded anymore. He can't always be the one who gets hurt.
- The trouble-making corporal who quarrels with Winters - who will appear again ("Telegraph Road") - changes for the last time from Morrow to Bailey. Corporal Bailey is actually mentioned in "Reason To Believe" (but he is never seen and he is not Corporal #2).
"Telegraph Road":
- First Lieutenant Carrington's name changed to Harrington, to avoid confusion with the real Colonel Henry B. Carrington, commander of Fort Phil Kearny at the time of the Fetterman Massacre in 1866.
"Knockin' On Heaven's Door":
- Marlowe has received his *eagles*, not his *stars*. The shoulder insignia of a colonel has an eagle on it. Stars are for generals.
