Introduction

The Mediterranean League (ML) is a group of Aces High pilots who will meet bi-weekly for 4 weeks in the Med. Special events arena in Aces High.
Tuesday meetings will be just FunFrames, while in Saturday meetings the score and plane/pilot losses will be recorded.
TheArena settings in the arena will be more realistic than those in the Main Arena, and it is hoped engagements will be more true to life as well, with historical match-ups, and less arcade like flying.

 Meeting Times

Tuesday meetings will be FunFrames, while in Saturday meetings the score and plane/pilot losses will be recorded:

Tuesday October 17: 10-12 PM EST (Fun frame no points)

Saturday October 21: 2-4 PM EST

Tuesday October 24: 10-12 PM EST (fun frame no points)

Saturday October 28: 2-4 PM EST

Tuesday October 31: 10-12 PM EST (fun frame no points)

Saturday November 4: 2-4 PM EST

Tuesday November 7: 10-12 PM EST (fun frame no points)

Saturday November 11: 2-4 PM EST

Initial Conditions

The axis (Knights) will have control of all of continental Europe, as well as Corsica, Sicily, and Sardinia. The allies (Bishop) will have control of all of continental Africa, as well as Malta. Palma and Perpignon (A36 and A37) will be neutral (Rook).

Scoring

5 pts for each fighter kill

7 pts for each bomber kill

50 points for each airfield capture

25 points for each strategic target destroyed (partial credit awarded based on % operational at end of day)

10 points for each V field capture

RULES

This will be a semi-limited life scenario with strategic warfare possible. What this means is:

· Each squad starts with 8 airframes. They may have more than 8 pilots in the roster, but only as many pilots as airframes available (up to a max. of 8) may fly on any one day (to accommodate for pilots who are only able to attend occasionally).

· Additionally, which more than 8 people for a squad can fly, they have a limited number of “lives”, beginning at 8 for the start of the scenario. Pilots who are captured or KIA subtract one “life” from that squadron, limiting the number of pilots they can sortie the following session.

- When a new frame starts each squadron will receive some planes/pilots replacements:

· Each axis squadron will be allowed to “revive” three airframes per session, as well as “recruit” three new pilots.

· Each allied squadron will be allowed to “revive” three airframes per session, as well as “recruit” three new pilots.

· If a countries training facility target is destroyed (reduced to less than 20%) then they will not be allowed any revivals the following day.

· If a countries ammo factory is destroyed (reduced to less than 20%) then they will not be allowed to replace any damaged aircraft the following day.

· If a pilot successfully ditches, that pilot and airframe are out of action for the day but may return to duty the following session.

· If a pilot bails out in friendly territory, the airframe is counted as a loss but the pilot may return to active duty the following day.

· If the home airbase of a squadron is captured, they will be inactive for the next session pending relocation to the nearest open airfield.

Leadership
Each squadron’s CO will be responsible for his squad and decisions about engagements and flight plans. Before each session, a short statement of objective for that day by the countries leadership will be given to the CO, but the manner in which that objective is carried out (waypoints, flight path, etc.) is up to the CO. use of the mission planner is recommended.
