Frame 1 101° Gruppo Italian ground attack unit equipped with Re2002  aircrafts (F6F) :  whispering shadows advancing through the night: this pilots, the remnants of a crack unit of italian stukas, are still hitting hard, even if their action is confined to night sorties now.
Frame 1 Regia Aeronautica 51° Stormo,  C202  Join  "I 4 gatti"* as this famous crack unit is involved in a long and  hard fight with enemy intruders, where, lacking firepower, good aim and flying skill are your best weapons.

51° Stormo: an italian crack unit, its veterans developed a great combat experience over   Malta, Sicily and North Africa; achieving more successes  in their 1943 fights from Sardinians bases. The fact that hey had conserved humour  even in those tragic days is confirmed by the  nickname of  their group “I soliti quattro gatti”.

English translation is : “The same old four cats”…To fully understand the meaning the phrase You must know that the expression “four cats” means also “very few people” in Italian.  This name was both referring to their insigna and to the extreme lack of new pilots and planes.
