GAMMA CASSIOPEIAE

The star Gamma Cassiopeiae, as seen through a refracting telescope at high magnification, presents itself as a wide and colorful double star. However, in a larger Newtonian reflector under very high magnification with steady atmospheric conditions, it proves to be a tight triple star.

La stella Gamma Cassiopeiae, osservata ad elevato ingrandimento attraverso un telescopio rifrattore, si presenta come un'ampia e colorata stella doppia. In un riflettore Newton di maggior diametro, con ingrandimenti molto alti e in condizioni di calma atmosferica, essa si rivela come una stella tripla assai stretta.
