AMI offers interpreting services for the following events:

- And for: national and international events both in Italy and abroad.
FORMS OF INTERPRETING:
- Simultaneous interpreting: the interpreters translate the
speakers' presentations and the debates into the conference working languages in almost real-time from
sound-proof booths.
- Consecutive interpreting: the interpreters provide an oral
translation of a speech availing themselves of notes taken
while the speech is delivered.
- Chuchotage: the interpreters provide a whispered
translation to a very small number of participants.
AMI can advise you on the best form of interpretation to fit your requirements, bearing in mind,
for instance, that consecutive interpretation is best suited for small meetings, allows you to save
on the cost of equipment but takes longer.
All these forms of interpretation require a high level of linguistic and technical competence,
which AMI interpreters put at your service. Our interpreters have knowledge in many areas, but
are not expected to be experts in all fields. In order to allow time for preparation in a
particular topic, it highly suggested that you supply one or more of the following, well in
advance of the event:
- Texts or notes for formal speeches, papers or studies to be presented at the meeting
- Copies of visual material (graphs, slides, etc)
- Minutes of previous meetings on the same subject
- Recent publications on the subject of the meeting
- Existing glossaries
