I studied Electronic Engineering in Bari's Politecnico, got degree in 1997 with 110/110 votes. During studies I worked on different projects, here on the left you can download (129kb) the result of one of them. I's a DLX processor visual simulator.This software was developed with Andrea Lattanzi, using xview. See readme in the zip file for installing and using details.

I'm working on computer vision in Tecnopolis Robotics & Automation LAB. We are developing an automatic quality control system based on Image Processing. We are focusing on metallic manufacted mechanic parts (this one on the left is only 2.5cm in height).  Our project's targets are:    fully automatic visual inspection 0% Missed defects minimum false alarm percentage reduced moving, inspecting & processing time. Now we have  ~10 secs with 10 optical setups, but setups integration should lead to a 50% reduction.
