Depos was founded in Sesto Fiorentino in 1969 as an artistic laboratory of decorated porcelain. Under the expertise guidance of Silvano Bongianni, the factory's founder, it continues to grow while constantly creating new lines of production.

In it's first year, Depos was able to enter into the international market with their classic design called "Antico Sevres".

From the beginning the fundamental objective of Silvano Bongianni was to create exclusive designs inspired by classical designs that would bring a new and exciting line of decorated porcelain into the market.

This is how the various artistic collections of Depos were developed; the constant search of new ideas keeping together with the traditional craftsmenship are what make the productions of Depos a symbol of quality.

Today the Depos tradition is carried on by the children of Silvano Bongianni that after many years at working side by side with their father have run the factory since 1997.

At present Depos carries on its production in its new factory in Calenzano (Florence -Italy).
