Introduction
Before you read these FAQ we should do some consideration:
Shareware authors aren't rich men but their job make rich the "computer's community" (in any sense). What the "computer's community" leaves to us? lots of people earn money through our software but we are neither human for lots of people. We aren't machine or businnes men, we are boys, girls, women and men loving Macs, computers and computer's people. We're human. We give you our time, our work, our life. You may give us your money if you want, or be mistaken sending money, or be disgusted by our software, but you can't negate us your respect: even if our software is bad, we wrote it for you.
Can stay here some sentence that you don't like: we apologize if this happens but you should consider that, during so many years of programming, we have met lots of wrong people. We have a very short available time and we can't more keep free our time for wrong people.

Q: I sent, directly to Yellowsoft, a registration fee, but I haven't yet my registration code!
A: After sending your registration fee directly to Yellowsoft you should wait at least two weeks before be worried. This is the normal time taken on by a letter sent from outside Italy to reach destination in Italy.
Q: I sent, directly to Yellowsoft, a registration fee, since very long time, but I haven't yet my registration code!
A: Two chance:
- Your letter is lost, sorry.
- You've sent us a check. We can't directly accept check, you must use Kagi for paying with checks.
Q: Hey stupid! where is the info I claim? Idiot!
A: Classical Mac Users are wonderful people, they are friendly and witty. But, since not long time, a new category
of Mac Users appears: they don't ask, they pretend; they never pay for shareware; they are rude, arrogant, offensive.
They are, we think, not real Mac Users since theirs questions require always obvious answers for normal Mac Users, they are Windows Users who have bought recently an iMac or a G3.
We don't knew them so we answered theirs e-mails. Theirs replies were always more rude, arrogant and offensive (see the question of this answer...).
Well, we don't know whether the Mac community needs this category of users, we know that Yellowsoft don't need them, so:
- We don't answer to e-mails containing even only one incorrect or offensive word.
- We don't answer to e-mails making manifest aggressive, rude or arrogant attitude.

The MacLocksmith FAQ

- Press the button "AT BOTTOM" to get file dialog (the button containing the name of hidden file) by using THE MOUSE and hold down the button without release it.
- Press the "S" key on your keyboard.
- RELEASE THE MOUSE BUTTON.
Q: I've lost may password, can you help me?
A: NO!!!! Saving your passwords is a responsibility of you: if you've forgot your passwords you've a trouble, but is a trouble of you. There are obvious reasons that keep Yellowsoft from help you: MacLocksmith is a "security" application whether you think about this you know these reasons.
Q1: I've lost may password, have you a Master Password?
Q2: I've lost may password, have you a different Master Password for each registered user?
Q3: Does your program feature a super user password to override the users password, for administrators like myself? (in case someone does forget his password)?
A: This is the major upgrade request for MacLocksmith, it's quite ease to realize, but we can't make it! Even if this feature would be useful for administator and would be quite secure inside a closed context, it would scale down, very much, the security level of the application itself, bearing in mind the world context. This would become a dangerous access door for bad people.
Q: We use the HFS - Extended formatted harddisks. Does this bother your MacLocksmith?
A: No, the disk formattation method is nonessential for MacLocksmith.
Q: Wath's the bit strength of MacLocksmith's encryption?
A: Well, well, well. Lots of people ask Yellowsoft about this question! Why are normal users so interested to very complex question like this? It's a mystery! Whether we reveal technical infos about MacLocksmith these people would be really wondered but, at Yellowsoft, we think that diffusing even only the least info about MacLocksmith's encryption way means make easier the job of "Bad People". Anyway a lot of mail asked we about this question and, above all, we received even a hell of a lot of mail from imprudent and forgetful people creating trobles by itself! Our life is short, we can't spend all of our time answering about MacLocksmith question, neither a $100 software may support this. Should we multiply the MacLocksmith price by ten, fifteen or twenty? For these reasons we've resolved that, before codes, the FIRST SECURITY LEVEL of MacLocksmith is our silence: there' is no way to receive neither a small support or answer about MacLocksmith. If your question about MacLocksmith is different than registration or bug reports, your mail will receive one automatic answer from a script.
Q1: MacLocksmith has destroyed my files!!! can you recover them?
Q2: MacLocksmith can't more decrypt one encrypted file, can you help me?
A: At Yellowsoft we use some popular and commercial application that, daily, destroys our files. This happens because, some inconvenience (not necessarily caused by the application) may occur. We are safe since we use always backup COPIES! MacLocksmith is quite safe, it works only on templates and removes the original files ONLY whether all jobs succeed without errors. But working with computers isn't a safe way, MacLocksmith is used successful by thousands and thousands of people without problems but you may be the one between a million who have problems. We're really sorry if you lose a file but, in this case, why you ask Yellowsoft to recover them? we're not magicians: your file is destroyed! At Yellowsoft we don't ask to Major Software House when theirs programs destroy our files: we're foresighted and have always backup copies. Please, when you're working with MacLocksmith use always any acceptable precaution.
Q: While I was using MacLocksmith for evaluation I encountered troubles. I risk to lose very important, legal, vital, fundamental documents. Help me!
A: See above but...even if you're inexperienced with softwares and computers you can't be so imprudent to use vital documents for evaluating a shareware program. Likely you use habitually MacLocksmith and your "evaluation" is a candlestick, since you're unregistered.
