The site covers all the official curriculum information needed for any International student selecting Science at KS3,KS4 and KS5,adopting the British National Curriculum.

It will make all Science concepts within practical and theoretical                                 work easier to understand. It offers both an overall guide to Science and a source of essential internet links for research and revision purposes.:useful for both parents and students.

AIMS

1. To introduce the school and  the Science Department as a whole.

2.  As a guide to check all official syllabus criteria at KS3 , KS4 and KS5.

3. To see how our own science curriculum fits in with the above.

4. To provide  research facilities using the best educational                                          weblinks  currently available. 

5. To display exemplary science work achieved by the SJHS students.

6. To provide a greater understanding of the immense variety of careers open to students studying science, and to see what these careers entail.

7. To promote the internationalism of science, which is not                                           limited by national boundaries, or by local custom and practice. 

8. To promote the idea that exploring science is fun !
