* TIP: HOW TO INSTALL SP6A OVER IE 5.01 WITH HIGH ENCRYPTION
(contributed by http://www.windows2000faq.com)
If you attempt to install the standard-encryption version of Windows NT
4.0 Service Pack 6a (SP6a) on an NT 4.0-based computer that already has
Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) High Encryption Pack installed, you
might receive an error message that says you have chosen to install a
standard encryption version of the service pack onto a system with high
encryption already installed.
This error occurs because the service pack installation program
can't overwrite the schannel.dll file, which the High Encryption Pack
installs. To work around the problem, perform the following steps:
1. Start a text editor, such as Notepad.
2. Open the update.inf file in the SP6a folder.
3. Remove the reference to the schannel.dll file from the
[CheckSecurity.System32.files] section.
4. Save the file.
5. Run the SP6a installation program.
